| Flowers from Africa |
Flowers from Africa required a logo design which would both highlight their business i.e. the floral supply business and at the same time the fact that the business has African roots. The Protea being the national flower of South Africa was the perfect choice for a basis which would lead to the final design. A two colour base was chosen to ensure simplicity yet allowing the logo to be modern and striking. The word "Flowers" offers high impact value as it is designed to highlight the central theme. |
| Fontanne Traders |
Suppliers of fine bottled water to distributors, Fontanne Traders required a logo which said "quality, South Africa, unique but for all." The diamond was included to highlight the quality and promise of the Fontanne Traders product while the shades of blue and gray combine to accentuate the central theme: water. A font was also chosen which would be associated with a higher quality and product. http://www.fontannespring.com |
| Four Flies Nature Farm |
A self-catering farm situated in Mpumalanga, South Africa, Four Flies asked Grey Pebbles Design Studio to create a logo which would embody the countryside with the idea of tranquility and "getting away from it all." The house was specifically chosen to be located at the end of the stream to create a sense of "free expanse" and space. The river itself leads the viewer towards the house through a pleasant arrangement of trees. Four Flies Nature Farm embraced the logo and use it widely. |
| Gizo Health Care Suppliers |
The Gizo logo design had to represent the Health industry while at the same time depicting people, the basis of its service. Colors were selected according to the typical colors found in most medical practices while the choice was made to for a modern creative design through including the person figure and the red cross which depict the medical profession. The name was included in a manner which would allow the viewers eyes to be drawn to the name directly from the logo image. |
| The Gourmet Kitchen |
This is quite a complex logo design but it embodies some very important considerations as required by the client. A stunning design which makes use of related colour combinations and is also aimed at highlighting the name rather than obscuring this through "over design." The steaming pot removes all doubt as to the message relayed while the name, appearing to be cooked stands-out in a very "mater of fact" way. Corporate colours blend beautifully to create the final logo. |
| GTMS |
A global theme was applied to the GTMS design solution. The Grey Pebbles Design Studio graphic designers employed creative design to simplify the initially idealized logo and to create a simple but effective design solution. Using the globe's mounting axis as a basis for the letter G, allows the design to relay its message without separating the name and the logo thus creating one unique representation. |
| Injineli Consulting |
Consulting Engineers based in Pretoria, South Africa. Injineli Consulting required a design which would fit into the high tech world of today's engineers while ate the same time breaking away from the traditional drab and bland colours that engineering logos generally find themselves punished with. A choice of colours was decided upon and this created a modern and trendy logo which appeals to a wide spectrum of clients while retaining the hard lines generally associated with engineering design. |
| Interdev Partnership Association |
Interdev Partnershi[ Association supplied Grey Pebbles Design Studio with a range of preferred corporate colors and required ideals. The chain of people creating a link around the globe clearly illustrates this while at the same time, the name "Interdev"being placed in the prime position on top of the image defines the international ideal together with Planet Earth . The round shape of the design emphasizes the international partnership ideal. |
| Italian Style |
The Italian Chamber of Commerce launched an international trade show called "Italian Style" which was launched at Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg. The theme was Italian Flair and thus the name was chosen by them to be Italian Style. A requirement for a highly modern and stylish creative design which also embodied the Italian Flag colours was requested. Grey Pebbles Design Studio successfully took on the challenge. |
| Jabber Gear |
Trendy, unique, exciting but with earthly colours...some of the words that were given to describe the ideal design. The Jabber Gear logo was then idelaised and the chosen version was this one. The soft yet opposing colours offer a two-shade solution which allows detail to be produced yet at the same time creates an abstract rendition of the trie-life image. It was decided to employ some creativity indesign to make the person figure "trendy" through portraying an action. |
| Jeric Properties |
JERIC Properties required a creative logo design which should clearly state their presence in the property industry. Simply adding a house to the design would not have created a unique creative design or the possibility for a truly impressive corporate identity. The roof being the most noticeable part of any house when on its own was used for the central theme with the name making the rest of the house. |
